Overview

College of Architecture - Information Technology Services (ITS) is responsible for computing support at the College. ITS is staffed by several full-time employees and many student workers working in conjunction with Computing and Information Services to maintain the College of Architecture's information technology infrastructure.

Technical Support

ITS is responsible for computing support at the College. The easiest way to get in touch with us regarding problems you may be encountering is by either calling the Help Desk at 979.862.8584 or e-mailing them at helpdesk@arch.tamu.edu.

Help Desk Mission Statement

The Help Desk will strive to make technology available to the College of Architecture in all aspects, be they operations, teaching, or research and assist the users with the implementation of this technology.

In pursuit of these goals, the Help Desk will:

  • Provide an open and accessible knowledgeable source on all aspects of information technology pertaining to the functionality of the technology infrastructure of the College of Architecture.
  • Provide support in the use of technology to facilitate academic innovation, education, and operations.
  • Promote a professional customer service environment in which client issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner that earns the satisfaction of our clients.
  • In an effort to provide readily accessible information for the College community, ITS maintains this website in the hopes it will serve the College community as a gateway for information and support.

University Resources & Access

Many day-to-day activities involve the use of University-provided resources and require access which is out of the control of ITS. If you are at all confused about whom to contact to resolve your issue, please do not hesitate to contact the ITS Help Desk at 979.862.8584 and we'll gladly point you in the right direction.

Personal Computer Support

Per the Personal Computer Repair Policy, ITS is unable to service personal computers for Students, Staff, & Faculty. However, other resources exist on-campus (such as CIS Help Desk Central) for the purpose of helping with personal computers. Please check the Personal Computer Repair Policy for a further list of resources.
